First of all, we should have the new trailer online in the next few days. Everything's looking great so far. We had a small gathering of the crew a day or two back to view and critique the trailer and it was well received.

Also, we have (apparently) been mentioned in the new Hollywood Reporter. Check it out if you can!

We just wrapped up the open casting call for FREEZER BURN about an hour ago. We had a huge turn out and had a really good time meeting with everyone. I just want to take a moment to thank those that came- it went VERY well. We look forward to working with many of you in the near future.

This week began the process of auditioning actors and actresses. Working out of our space in New York City, we interviewed a dozen or so talented actor/actress types. There will be more auditions in the next week or so- 3 more dates in NYC and at least one locally here in CT.

In the past couple of weeks, we decided as a group that the FEAR OF POP short we were working on wasn't the right fit for us. While the script was coming along, we felt that it just wasn't the right material for this fall.

But this is why we have Drewcifer Taylor on our side.

Just when we were heading back to the metaphorical drawing board, Drew (with a giddy smile across his face, I might add) turned to us and said... "I think I may have another story..." And lo, FLUIDS spewed forth!!

...it is a WORKING title...

This movie will be quite different from FOP. Without giving too much away, I can say that it's a suspense/drama/comedy film of sorts (take THAT, moviefone.com!). This returns us to our original notion of making two very different films to cover the whole spectrum of what we can do.

At any rate, I'm VERY excited about what Drew's pumping out (these puns are going to be a problem, i can tell...). As much as I'd love to indulge you readers (my little brother) with all the details, you'll just have to wait and see!

So- in the next week or so, we should have some news for you about a couple of changes in our fall slate. Things are being worked out right now- so we'll see what happens. Charles is off to the midwest to knock out the first draft to FREEZER BURN while Drew begins toying with a few new ideas of his own. I'm going to attempt to start writing these entries a bit more often to keep everyone up to date.

Oh wait... I forgot... no one reads this...

i don't know if this will last, but i figured it'd be relatively interesting (at least to me) to try and somewhat chronical our group effort to make a couple of nifty movies this fall. the larger picture, of course, to establish ourselves and make an attempt at doing this for a living (or someting to that effect?)

so. sit back. relax. and wait. wait for the next entry, which probably won't be for a while... but i do have some cool concept drawings (courtesy of one mykie slattery) which are definitely worth a gander... i'll get those up on the site sooooooon. i hope. and before then maybe i'll get those cursed videos up.
